MATERIALS LIST
The association Deborah Ricciu - Espandere Orizzonti actively encourages the collection of food, school materials and children’s clothes, for the school children and village children who live in Kibiri, Uganda. It is possible to donate long life food, medicine and hygiene products, books and school equipment, shoes and any clothing for children, used games in good condition, computers and information technology. All that we collect is taken to Uganda by our volunteers or the next one of us to travel there. Thanks to your generosity, our children from incredibly difficult circumstances are able to study and eat well! For agreements on how to collect, send an email to the address: skirruroberto@gmail.com
Here is a list of the things you can donate:
FOOD
Pasta, rice, tuna and meat in tins, vegetables in jars, sugar, tinned tomatoes, honey and jam, biscuits, UHT milk etc.
CLOTHING
Used clothes (but in good condition) for children from 0-12 years, anything for newborns, children’s shoes, unworn pants.
HYGIENE PRODUCTS
Medicines with a long shelf life for common illnesses, vitamins, plasters, bandages, gauxe, gloves and syringes, scissors, disinfectant (alcohol, water based, iodine, disinfectant) toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and medical instruments.
SCHOOL MATERIALS
Colouring and drawing pencils, pens, crayons, biros, rubbers, pencil sharpeners, scissors, notebooks, sketchbooks, card, post its, english reading books and picture books.
GAMES
Small board games used but in good condition, footballs and volleyballs, teddies and soft toys.
COMPUTERS AND IT MATERIALS
Laptops and tablets (can be old but working) webcams, modems, routers, mice, USB cables, CDs and DVDs (especially with educational films) films and animations on DVD.
