Elena Solinas was born in Sassari on June 3, 1960. She graduated in 1984 from the three-year Theater School "Theatrical technicians" of Sassari. You followed in-depth training on "Conflict management, adult-child relationship, teacher-student relationship", organized by the University of Sassari, faculty of Literature and Pedagogy. In 1985 she moved to Rome, where she perfected her studies in acting, opera singing and jazz singing; she later takes care of the staging of various shows (cabaret, musical, research theater) dedicating herself to writing and directing. From the end of 1999 she moved to Barcelona, ​​Spain, where she works in cinema with directors: L.Teruel; J.Pons; P. Kleiman. She deals with translation, adaptation and dubbing for the studios of “Mercutio Vox” and “Sonoblock”. You collaborate on the radio program for Italians abroad "Lo Zibaldone" and on the television program "Karakia" for TV3. In 2001 she founded the company “ilfilodeldiscorso”, which produces various shows for both adults and children. In all these years she has gained great experience as a teacher of theatrical courses, acting, diction, mime, creativity, music, singing, dance, creative writing, reading, clowning, juggling. Among her many experiences abroad as an actress, director and teacher we highlight: "Festa di piazza", Commedia dell’Arte show, directed by L. Parisi, prod. “ImagEvent” (Austria) and the theatrical tour in Israel (Tel Aviv, Haifa, Acco) participating in the “Child International Festival”. You hold the theater workshops at the "Galileo Galilei Italyan Lisesi" in Istanbul; she is invited to the Italian Cultural Institute in London and to the "Clare Hall" and "Jesus" colleges in Cambridge. She was invited to Izmir for the “Kukla Gunleri” Theater Festival and to Istanbul for the “Kukla Festival” International Puppet Theater Festival. In Argentina she acted and sang in several shows staged in Buenos Aires, San Isidro, La Plata, Victoria San Fernando. In recent years you have been very active in Latin America with shows, recitals and workshops, especially in Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, where you are mainly involved in disseminating a form of social theater: the Theater of the Oppressed. You have made various documentaries, including "Sardinian emigration to Argentina", in 4 episodes. In recent years you have worked a lot in Asia with the Theater of the Oppressed and in India, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia with the theater for children. You have taught theater subjects in various parts of the world and holds courses and workshops on raising awareness of environmental protection and recycling of materials, puppet theater, creativity and dramatization for teachers.
